The Man

“The risk of a wrong decision is preferable to the terror of indecision” -Maimonides

Once again the cycle repeats itself. It has happened about every two years for the last six or so years. The next book in Wheel of Time has been released.

I had very good intentions this time. I barely paid attention to the countdown at wotmania.com I wasn’t worked up about it, I was going to wait. Even after Stan found the prologue and first chapter on the internet (about 100 pages worth) I was still ok, but then I started re-reading the first book in the series. It is one of my favorite books, I can’t put it down, and it has worked me into a Wheel of Time fever pitch. I feel like Tyrone Biggums, “Lemme tell you something you might not know Joe Roegan… I smoke rocks.”

I have a desire to Stick it to The Man, the books have been going downhill lately, but it is causing me to start twitching nervously knowing that I could be reading right now. As I sit here the rationalization center in my brain is working overtime.
